FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions? I've got you.

Here's what students and parents usually want to know about working with YourEduAgent.

Why choose YourEduAgent?

I bring eight years of experience working with students, a mathematics background, and a real passion for organization and accountability. I work from home, offer flexible remote support, and take pride in reliable, responsive communication within agreed hours. I can also meet with students to explain a confusing prompt, brainstorm ideas, and help map a practical outline or next-step plan.

Is this tutoring?

No. This service focuses on academic accountability, organization, time management, understanding assignment requirements, and getting started. If a student needs subject-specific teaching or instruction, that's a different type of support.

Will you write or submit assignments for students?

No. I do not complete graded work, take tests, impersonate a student, or submit academic work on their behalf. Students remain responsible for their own ideas, writing, and submissions. I can help explain instructions and support the planning process.

Can you help when an assignment feels impossible to start?

Absolutely. We can meet to unpack the instructions, identify the deliverables, brainstorm possibilities, and make a student-led outline or action plan. Sometimes having a calm person talk through the prompt is all it takes to begin.

Do you work with high school and college students?

Yes. Support can be adapted to high school and college students with different course schedules, planning needs, and levels of independence.

How often will we communicate?

That depends on the support arrangement we choose. We can discuss check-in frequency, available hours, and the best channels for communication before getting started. I value responsiveness, but this isn't 24/7 on-demand coverage.

Can you summarize my online lectures or class materials?

Yes. For recorded lectures, slides, and class materials you have permission to share, I can help create concise summaries, study notes, and a list of key takeaways or follow-up questions. This is especially useful for asynchronous online classes. You still participate in the course, review the material, and do your own academic work.

Can you help me navigate online classes?

Absolutely. I can help you find class recordings, assignment instructions, announcements, syllabi, and other resources in your course platform, and set up a plan for checking updates. Any account access or sharing must follow school policies.

Can you help write emails to my professor or teacher?

Yes! We can work on respectful, professional emails to ask questions, request clarification, follow up, or explain a concern. You'll review and send the message yourself.

Do you review course portals and class announcements?

When appropriate and permitted by the school, we can discuss how to organize information from syllabi, course platforms, and announcements. Any account access or information-sharing arrangements must follow the school's policies and be agreed upon in advance.

Will parents receive academic updates?

For high school students, we can discuss appropriate parent involvement and communication. For college students, academic details are shared with parents only with the student’s authorization and in keeping with applicable privacy requirements.

How much does YourEduAgent cost?

Pricing is discussed privately because students have different needs and schedules. Send a text or book a consultation, and we'll talk through the type and frequency of support that would be most useful.

How do I get started?

Text 682-420-0495 or book a 15-minute consultation online. Tell me a little about the student’s main challenges, and we can discuss fit, availability, and next steps.

Will this guarantee better grades?

No service can guarantee grades or academic outcomes. The goal is to help students stay organized, understand expectations, and develop more consistent planning and follow-through habits.

Still have a question? I'm happy to talk it through.
